San Francisco Transgender & Gender-Variant Immigrant Survey (TGVIS) 2023

The San Francisco Transgender & Gender-Variant Immigrant Survey (TGVIS) is a city-wide survey of transgender, gender non-conforming, non-binary, intersex and culturally gender-diverse immigrants by ParivarBayArea in partnership with LGBT Asylum Project. The TGVIS will gauge the lives and experiences of trans immigrants in the city of San Francisco. In short:

• The SF Transgender & Gender-Variant Immigrant Survey is for all trans immigrants age 18 and up.
• The SF TGVIS 2023 is for people of all trans identities, including binary and nonbinary trans identities. 
• The SF TGVIS 2023 will serve as a source of data about trans people for the elected officials, service providers, media, educators, policymakers, and the general public in San Francisco covering health, employment, asylum, food insecurity, housing, income, etc. 
• The SF TGVIS 2023 is available in 9 languages and thereby made accessible to Trans Immigrants and Refugees of San Francisco.
