Berkeley Law School’s Queer Caucus Presents: Trans Law Mixer on Feb. 26th

Berkeley Law School’s Queer Caucus is organizing a Trans Law Mixer on Feb 26, 6-7:30 pm in Berkeley, California, at Freehouse (details in the QR Code form on the flyer), bringing together Berkeley Law and broader Bay Area law students with trans attorneys. The event will be an informal connection and community gathering to meet Berkeley students’ expressed interests in building relationships with trans attorneys and feeling less isolated as we all navigate an increasingly challenging legal and political climate. Opportunities for this kind of connection are currently limited, leaving many students to grapple with questions about workplace safety, long-term sustainability, and professional identity largely on their own. Creating dedicated spaces for connection with trans legal professionals feels especially important in light of this gap.
