Letter From the Co-Chair

International Transgender Day of Visibility

Today is International Transgender Day of Visibility. As dozens of states pass anti-trans bills across our country, transgender and gender nonconforming (TGNC) people need our help and voices more than ever.

So while we honor the lives of those lost too soon and celebrate the folks who are and have been doing the work everyday, the National Trans Bar Association urges everyone to take action!

You can get involved in various way: donating to trans led organizations like those listed on www.transweek.com, contacting your state representative in priority states, or standing up for trans people in your community.

Together we can make this day not only a day of reverence but also a call to action to protect and defend  TGNC people now and in the future. For more information on updated new on the trans community follow @chasestrangio on social media and visit trans-week.com for state by state actions and organizations you can donate to.
