As July draws to an end and August unfolds, we honor the moments of solidarity and celebration that marked this important month for the LGBTQ community.

Week of July 14: Nonbinary Awareness Week

August 14: Gay Uncles Day

This day recognizes the love, support, and guidance that gay uncles offer, highlighting their importance in nurturing and enriching the lives of their nieces and nephews. August 20: Southern HIV/AIDS Awareness Day
Southern HIV/AIDS Awareness Day, observed on August 20, focuses on raising awareness about the impact of HIV/AIDS in the Southern United States.
