2022 Transgender Law Institute
The Transgender Law Institute (TLI) is coming to you again as part of the annual Lavendar Law Conference. This year, the conference will be held in-person in Los Angeles, California from July 27 to the 29th, with TLI falling on the 29th.
On the eve on TLI, July 28th, the National Trans Bar Association (NTBA) will be hosting a social event, also taking place in Los Angeles. Event details will be updated as the event date approaches. Sponsorships and donations can be made below.
The Transgender Law Institute is a space for the leading legal minds involved with the transgender community to share ideas and network. The Institute will host experienced practitioners and academics focusing on legal issues affecting the transgender community. Participants will share their collective wisdom and discuss cutting-edge legal strategies.
In response to the onslaught of anti-trans legislation across the country this year’s theme will be “Resilient”. The Institute will be a space for everyone affected to discuss the state of affairs, ideate best next steps as a movement, and cultivate trans resiliency.
The Institute will be a hybrid event with a virtual attendance option. Everyone is welcome to join for any part of the Institute or for the entire day.
