Amid escalating hate and systematic abandonment, the national suicide lifeline for LGBTQ+ youth is set to close&nbsp;<strong>July&nbsp;17, 2025.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trevor Project has taken action to support LGBTQ+ youth in crisis, who are more than four times as likely to attempt suicide than their peers, for more than 27 years. Crisis contacts have surged 700% after th election and young people are asking painful questions: &#8220;Is it safe to be myself? Does anyone care?&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Trevor Project is committed to fighting back 24\/7, but resources are stretched thin.
